Figuratively Speaking Studios is a design firm devoted to the preservation of the centuries old tradition of the waxwork figure. We produce our own line of half-scale, one-of-a-kind wax Art Dolls as well as commissions for both half-size and full-size figures for your home, business or private collection.
The studio is the brainchild of David Robert Cellitti a sculptor and mold maker who originally apprenticed at the age of fifteen with American wax artisan Katherine Stubergh in her Los Angeles studio. Forty years later, Mr. Cellitti established Figuratively Speaking Studios in order to advance and maintain the vanishing art form of the wax museum figure.
